I'm David Simkin, graduate software developer at the
. I've previously worked on the
and I'm currently working on Video Factory, the future of media acquisition at the BBC.
I started at the BBC in September of 2012 and the graduate scheme consists of four 6 month rotations around different products and areas of the BBC's Future Media division.
Previously I've worked and studied at

I achieved a first-class honors degree in Computing Science and I spent time working as a research assistant, leading a team in designing and building an Android application for the rehabilitation of children with neurological disorders in partnership with the
.
I'm also the developer of a top-fifteen selling Android application
Reddita has sold over 1500 copies and has over 12,000 total installs. In 2012 free copies of the application served more than 3 million advert impressions a month. More info here. For more about me check out my CV.
